Tayla graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy). She is also qualified in Level 1 dry needling.
While completing her studies, Tayla participated in community clinical placements, which involved treating patients at indigenous health centres. This highly rewarding experience of working in a small community provided her with invaluable learning opportunities.
Sport has always been a big part of Tayla’s personal life, leading her to initially study an Exercise and Sports science degree. However, she soon realised her passion lay within the treatment and rehabilitation of sporting injuries, which eventually led her to study osteopathy. Her love of sport transitions well into practice, where Tayla enjoys treating athletes of all abilities from a variety of sports. Tayla is especially passionate about AFL and enjoys playing in the ruck for The Basin Women’s Football Club in the Eastern Football League.
As well as playing football, Tayla has played competitive basketball and golf. She is hoping to improve her handicap now she has finished her studies!
Along with treating sporting injuries, Tayla really enjoys helping those suffering headaches and ergonomic related issues.
