Dr. Kira Nee is a fully qualified and registered Osteopath and member of Osteopathy Australia.
She graduated from RMIT University in 2020 following the completion of a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy).
Already a familiar face at Wantirna Osteopathy, Kira has worked on reception and also volunteered at our Injury Assessment Nights during the Winter sporting season, giving her valuable insight into the mechanism of acute sporting injuries.
Kira also brings her extensive knowledge of assessing, fitting and recommending sporting footwear from her retail experience at Rebel Sport.
Through experiencing different modalities in her years of playing both basketball and netball, it was the all-encompassing biomechanical approach to the human body that drew Kira to osteopathy.
Kira has a holistic and methodical approach to her treatment and management of patients and will tailor her treatment to the individual. She treats a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and uses a range of techniques to achieve the best results for her patients. Kira will often incorporate other strategies in her management of patients including education, rehabilitation and stress management for the prevention of injury reoccurrence.
Kira enjoys listening to patients concerns and establishing a long-term plan for all patients to get people back to what they enjoy doing, pain free.
In her spare time Kira enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Her areas of interest include:
– Lower back pain
